In translation, Sadalsuud translates as the happiest of the happy, and therefore the jewellery from this collection is intended to bring happiness and inner strength on their journey. When Janja was little, her grandmother told her that if ever she felt lost in life, she should look to the sky, and the stars would always guide her. In this sense, Sadalsuud collection seeks to help its wearers find their way, walking the path they were meant to follow.

Sadalsuud is the brightest star in the constellation Aquarius. Rose quartz, which opens the heart chakra, carries the energy of self-love. “Society creates many stars to which we look up, but we must also recognise that we are stars to ourselves,” notes Janja. The golden to red sagenite, often called Venus’s hair, is a symbol of harmony of woman´s fragility and strength. The delicate threads of sagenite crystals weave through the quartz, embodying the true meaning of fragility within the mass.The final of the three Sadalsuud messengers is green Moldavite, a stone of transformation and renewal.
