Janja Prokić
Janja Prokić is a Serbian-born designer based in Prague. Trained in painting and sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, she later completed her studies in the Eva Eisler Studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design. There, she began focusing on conceptual jewellery, viewing it as small sculptures that can be worn on the body. For Janja, jewellery is not merely a visual expression; it must carry a deeper meaning. Each of her collections is, in some way, inspired by her personal life—she refers to them as her diaries. Her work draws inspiration from the history of art, shamanism, symbolism, as well as her childhood, dreams, and fairy tales. Above all, nature plays a crucial role in her life and serves as her greatest muse.
Each of Janja’s collections is unique, exploring different themes, and the designer also specialises in creating bespoke pieces. Her works have been exhibited worldwide, from Munich, Stockholm, Florence, London to New York. In addition to jewellery, she continues to create fine art objects and participates in fine art exhibitions.

Designed for likeminded individuals with a curious approach to contemporary luxury and a fresh perspective on wearing jewellery, Janja creates timeless pieces that are miniature wearable sculptures. Each collection is imbued with meaning, drawing on the designer’s fascination with nature, symbolism, mythology, and art history. Janja offers luxury jewellery that can be worn every day, as well as one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect the personality of the wearer. Pieces are worn by many notable figures across various fields. Using only the highest quality materials, including gold, premium diamonds, and gemstones, all pieces are meticulously handcrafted in her workshop in Prague. In 2017, Janja opened her first showroom in Prague. By 2022, she expanded with her first store, which offers more than just a jewellery shop. The space also includes a private lounge for exclusive visits and an art gallery showcasing exhibitions by artists whose work resonates with Janja’s vision. Visiting Janja’s showroom offers a comprehensive experience of her approach to art, jewellery, and lifestyle, as the space itself was designed by her.
