The face of the new Eir\u00e9n\u00e9 collection is actress Jana Plodkov\u00e1<\/span><\/span>. For designer Janja Proki\u0107<\/span><\/span>, choosing the person who will embody a collection is always very important. She needs to feel that the person truly understands why the collection was created and what message it carries. She had Jana in mind even before the collection was finished.<\/p>\n

\u201cI sense in her a natural connection to nature as well as to herself, an ability to listen to her own intuition and to the subtle signals of the surrounding world. And that is a quality that not many people possess today,<\/em>\u201d says the designer. According to her, Jana naturally carries two different states within herself \u2013 one quiet and inward, when she spends time alone, in nature and in a sense of inner calm; and another when she steps onto a theatre stage or in front of the camera and her energy naturally shines. The ability to move between silence and visibility has become, for Janja, a symbol of the balance that lies at the heart of the Eir\u00e9n\u00e9 collection.<\/p>\n

The collection draws inspiration from the fairy tale Iris (1918) by Hermann Hesse. In the story, the flower represents a gateway to the soul, a path toward one\u2019s own truth and the courage not to be constrained by external expectations. This deeply symbolic text became a key inspiration for Janja. \u201cWhat resonated with me most was the idea that we should allow into our lives only what truly resonates with our inner world \u2013 and what will be able to bloom within it,\u201d the designer explains.<\/p>\n

The name of the collection refers to the Greek goddess Eir\u00e9n\u00e9, the embodiment of peace, calm and balance. For Janja, this idea connects with the iris as a symbol of quiet pride, determination and loyalty to oneself.<\/p>\n

The aesthetic of the collection looks toward the Pre-Raphaelites and the Victorian era, when jewellery was understood as a ritual object carrying a personal story and hidden meaning. The delicate symbolism of the iris refers to Hesse\u2019s description of the golden hairs on its leaves as a path leading to the heart. For Janja, this image became a symbol of returning to oneself and to one\u2019s own centre. The pieces are therefore not merely adornments, but also talismans \u2014 quiet reminders of a personal journey and inner strength.<\/p>\n

The main gemstones of the collection are blue sapphire and emerald. Sapphire has long been associated with truth, faith and loyalty, and reminds us to trust our own intuition. Its deep blue colour symbolically evokes the depths of the soul. Emerald, on the other hand, represents harmony and the connection between worlds; its green colour calms the mind and opens space for inner insight. The collection is complemented by Top Wesselton diamonds, which enhance the purity and depth of the gemstones.<\/p>\n
